Vincent Barker

Vince commenced his insurance career in 2004. After starting in New Zealand, he has gained over 11 years of international experience in London and Australia. He has held senior management roles for AIG, Zurich and most recently at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance in establishing the Financial Institutions practice. He is a recognised market leader in financial lines insurance.

He has a unique experience to bring to customers. He has worked with all types of customers from the smallest start-ups to the largest multinationals with traditional insurance and alternative risk placements in over 50 countries.

Vince holds a Bachelor of Management Studies (Finance). He is also a member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Vince is a big sports fan and in his down time loves watching live sport. He still claims he’s on a hattrick at his last cricket club, he’s a keen runner, an average golfer, and much to his neighbour’s disgust enjoys playing the guitar. His guilty pleasures are a passion for history, economics, finance, and new and random sayings that will often get a test run in the office.
